About the event
The 2026 Science Formal is a Caribbean Carnival–inspired dinner and dance celebrating culture, colour, and connection. Drawing inspiration from Carnival traditions seen across places like the Caribbean, Brazil and Toronto, the evening blends vibrant energy with formal elegance.
Guests can expect a formal seated dinner, live photography, themed décor, fun games and prizes and a high-energy dance floor through the night. Bright colours, festive details, and Carnival-inspired accents will set the atmosphere while maintaining a refined formal experience.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, followed by introductions at 6:30 PM and dinner service at 7:00 PM. The dance floor opens at 9:00 PM and runs until 1:00 AM.
Formal attire is required. Carnival-inspired accessories and masks are welcome, Identification to be provided and remain visible when requested by staff or security.
